before i head off to bed, just wanted to share a story that happened to me today. we were hysterical in the office because of it, and we owe it all to hal. who's hal, you say?
well, let me start off by saying that my line of work is training. as expected, people from the office would ask assistance from the training group. and we readily give assistance to those in need! however, some...uh...hindrances may be encountered, and one of those hindrances is hal.
hal, the halitosis man.
i swear to god, when he asked me a question this morning (and take note that hal was about 3 feet away from me), i had to literally step back. WHOA!!! Bejeezus, from what deep, dark, unknown pit did THAT come from??? i must've answered him cause in the dark recesses of my brain, it registered that he thanked me and i must've swayed my way back to my office. i don't remember how i got there, but i'm just glad i did. in one piece.
this is no exaggeration! if you were there, you'd understand. on second thought though, you wouldn't want to have been there, believe me.
ok, off to bed i go. let me go brush my teeth now...and floss...and gargle...and rinse...
